Surfactant or Surface-active agents Chemicals which modify the surface properties of plastics to influence the wetting and flow properties of liquids allowing formation of emulsion or intimate mixtures of normally incompatible substances.
They include emulsifying agents, detergents, suspending agents, wetting agents, etc.
