Saybolt viscometer

Saybolt Viscometer Transpiration type of viscometer primarily used to determine viscosity of petroleum products.

A Saybolt viscometer is a device which is used to determine the viscosity of fluids by making precise measurements. This precision is obtained by the ability of the Saybolt viscometer to control the temperature of the fluid being measured.

The viscosity is then calculated by the time elapsed to fill a 60cc container with the fluid in question. The Saybolt viscometer uses a unit of measurement known as Saybolt Univeral Seconds.
