Polyphenylsulfone
From Plastics Wiki, free encyclopedia
Polyphenylsulfone(PES or PPS) resin has been characterized and developed as a matrix for graphite reinforced composites. Characterization of neat resin properties including mechanical properties, chemical and environmental resistance, and physical properties has been performed and documented. Graphite reinforced polyphenylsulfone composites have been developed and characterized. Details of fabrication studies and procedures are presented. Composite characterization included physical and mechanical properties such as shear, flexure, and tension, as well as chemical resistance and environmental durability
