Melamine Formaldehyde Resins Thermosetting resins of the amino resin family, made by reacting melamine with formaldehyde.

The lower molecular weight, uncured melamine resins are water soluble used for impregnating or laminating. Glass fiber reinforced melamine can be processed by compression molding.
