Injection pressure

Injection pressure Pressure applied to the injection ram to force the plastic from the barrel and into the mold (measured in psi).
In the pressure curve, there is a characteristic kink between the mold filling and packing phase, that can be determined via process data acquisition. This is carried out using suitable a dumbell test specimen.
