Branching

Branching - In polymer chemistry, it is the growth of a second chain of a polymer out of another one by replacement of a hydrogen atom on a monomer by a free-radical reaction, or by a condensation or other chemical reaction with a reactive group on a monomer. See Branching (chemistry).
